ESA is a non-profit institution that seeks to support national and foreign university students in the pursuit of their studies in Portugal.

At ESA, donors and beneficiaries together build the financial solution that guarantees the necessary means for the integration of students in Portuguese society and the smooth pursuit of studies.

At ESA, we aim to enable young beneficiaries to become net contributors and effective agents to make a difference in their lives and the lives of other students.

We promote the connection between donors and beneficiaries, stimulating mutual knowledge, trust, transparency and relationships.

Although students work to be able to finance their studies, ESA continues to need to complement that effort with other contributions that will support the remaining student expenses such as renting apartments and the respective grace period, university fees, logistical and legal support, some travel and ESA's own operating expenses
