Working and studying at the same time is good.

The idea of the Work & Study program is that ESA beneficiary students are part of the solution to be financially autonomous in paying their education expenses, distributing their time between work and study while acquiring professional skills, accelerating the process of learning Portuguese, as well as their social integration in Portugal.

Partner employer entities, protocol with the ESA, work programs, professional internships, vacation programs, local work, distance work or other projects and activities, which allow students to perform a paid activity that will help support their studies.

The student can work a semester or a whole year, to save money that will later be used to support the expenses of study in less intensive periods of work or absence of work, and in intense periods of exclusive focus on studies.
